600 Group was established in 1834 and took the name of the early head office situated at 600 Commercial Road, East London. The group formed its first machine tool company in 1932, and became the United Kingdom's leading lathe manufacturer through the acquisition of Colchester Lathes in 1954 and T S Harrison & Sons in 1971.

Today, 600 Group plc is an international group of engineering companies primarily involved in the manufacture and distribution of machine tools, industrial lasers and other innovative engineering products. The group particularly serves the metal cutting requirements of small and medium engineering companies. The regular introduction of new, well researched, cost-effective products, is a major feature of group activity.

600 Machinery International was formed in 1964, its mission to develop international trade for 600 Group, specialising in high opportunity and rapidly growing markets. Over the years, we have accumulated vast experience in international trading and our team of specialists can supply anything from simple low cost machine tools to fully equipped factories, maintenance facilities and training workshops.

Since being formed in 1964, 600 Machinery International has successfully completed many major projects throughout the world in all sectors of industry and education, from the supply of single machine tools and hand-tools to complete workshop packages. Mobile Workshops, Laboratories and Turbine Generators have also been supplied, each one tailor-made to our customers' requirements.

Today, we are the market leaders in Turnkey Packages overseas. We are constantly expanding our territories and since we are exclusively involved in Export Contracts, we are fully equipped to exceed our customers' expectations in terms of price, quality and overall service anywhere in the world.
